***How many autoresponder emails should you send?***

Hint: It’s about 7-8, depending on your business goals.

Everyone knows that followup is what makes or breaks a business.

If you don’t follow up, you won’t make the sale or land the client.

If you don’t follow up, you’ll fail.

But it’s often easier said than done. The sheer volume of things and people you have to remember can be overwhelming. That’s why we have things like CRM software.

Followup is all about keeping your name top-of-mind and converting leads into sales.

In the internet marketing world, two of the best ways to do that are email newsletters and autoresponder emails. Today, I’ll be focusing on autoresponders.

***Don’t Take Email Lightly.  It Works.***

Research shows that 66% of Americans have made a purchase based on an email they've received.  That's over 3x more than Facebook.

Also, email marketing can bring in a 40:1 profit - for every dollar you spend on email marketing, you could make $39.

Email marketing is highly effective for nearly any business, and is highly recommended by many industry experts and gurus.

***How to Grow Your Email List***

Email marketing is a force in today’s world.  You’re probably aware of that.  But the main difficulty with it is building your email list.

One way to do this quickly and easily is to offer what’s called a “bait piece.”

You offer a free report or white paper – valuable information to your prospect – for free in exchange for an email.

Visitors to your website “take the bait” and just like that you’re already providing service and value in addition to growing your email list for future marketing efforts.
